Qualitative research: Positioning Auckland in global value chains
(In conjunction with the University of Auckland School of Geography and Environmental Sciences and the Ministry of Economic Development, 2008, ongoing)
The aim of this research is to show how Auckland’s economy is inherently connected to other spaces in the national and global economy, and that its urban nature and functions are critical to the role it plays in these connections. This research will provide key perspectives to aid government thinking about economic transformation.
